We are excited to be part of Northern Michigan’s ever growing destination for craft beer and Michigan made wines. Nestled in the historic Inwood area, 6 miles South of Charlevoix, you can find us brewing beer in the traditional way, while incorporating new ingredients for innovative flavors. Our menu consists of 18 tap lines rotating between many styles of beer and hard cider all brewed in small batches on-premise. If beer isn’t your thing we also have an incredible selection of Michigan made wine & fruit wine.
At Folklor Wine & Cider, we believe that delicious wines and ciders start in the field with healthy soil, well cared-for plants and a thriving ecosystem. It’s part of our winemaking philosophy too – to let the fruit shine and add or take away as little as possible on its journey to the bottle. Our wines and ciders reflect the liquid landscape of Northern Michigan and everything it has to offer. Visit our Charlevoix tasting-room year round!
Lost Cellars (Previously Charlevoix Moon) is located just north of the 45th Parallel, about two miles east of Lake Michigan in the Tip of the Mitt American Viticultural Area (AVA). The company was established in 2007 as a vineyard supplying local wineries with four varietals of grapes and then in 2015 branched out to develop and sell custom boutique wines. These small batch award winning wines represent the best of northern Michigan, with both estate grapes and select local fruit to curate a collection of specialty wines enthusiasts search out.
Our estate vineyard is roughly 8 acres consisting of 5,000 vines. Each individual vine is handled with care throughout its growing cycle. We do a TON of vineyard walking to oversee the health of our vines. It’s the most peaceful place to be on the farm, and they really enjoy when Jennie talks to them!
We are a full service orchard in the heart of Northern Michigan growing a variety of fresh fruit that typically begin in June with strawberries and run until October with apples. We have two fruit stands for local sales, including fresh bakery items made with our own fruit. In addition to our fruit stands, you can also find us at Farmers Markets in and around Northern Michigan. We offer frozen fruit year round and a variety of frozen pies and bakery items.
Deeply committed to encapsulating the diversity of Northern Michigan agriculture, through a vertically integrated, sustainable, and innovative approach to distillate production, Ethanolo¿y is changing the paradigm of spirit.
Family is the Key to our vineyard and winery. In 2011 we began with just 400 vines, and with the help from our family and friends planting, trimming, and harvesting, we have continued to expand each year. The Spare Key Winery is one of the few estate grown and bottled wineries in Northern Michigan, meaning our wines are made from grapes grown in our vineyard and processed on-site by our team. We offer a Spare Key to all visitors passing through, to unlock experiences and good times shared with each other. We hope Spare Key will become a Key in your life and encourage you to return to experience our Spare Key family again.
